Purple Comet

A J/C Fanfic Contest

Update time again.  The votes are in for A Novel Idea, the results are below.  It was a VERY close contest, as you can see, we had three stories tied for first place, and the rest were just as close!  Thank you to everyone who read and voted, and thank you to all who submitted an entry.

Well, this is it.  It's been five and a half years and now it's time to go.  Thank you to everyone who supported this contest during it's lifetime - be it in writing or reading and voting or boosting my ego from time to time :)  I couldn't have done it without you.  I hope you've enjoyed it, I certainly have; it's been fun.

That's all folks!

This contest is now closed.  The archives of all contests and the links pages will remain here - I am more than happy to update links, feel free to email me with the new information - however, I won't be actively checking links, so there might be some brokwn ones.  As ever, the email address is purplecomet@laitaine.net.

Last Contest's Winning Stories

A Novel Idea

Tied First

A Beginning, A Middle And A Proper End - Karen B.
PG-13 - Canonical J/C fascinates me. This story explores that relationship, but offers a post-canon resolution that makes a lot more sense to me than the one the PTBs suggested in "Endgame." (Warning: contains brief C/7.)

An Unlikely Tale - Mary S.
NC-17 - An au story. Kathryn Janeway is sent by Starfleet Intelligence to the border colonies near Deep Space Nine in order to gather information on both the Cardassians and the Maquis.
(This author has requested not to have her email displayed, if you wish to contact Mary then please email Purple Comet.)

Eclipsed - Spiletta42
PG-13 - The EMH keeps a secret from the rest of the crew. A/U spun from Course: Oblivion Sci-fi/Drama. J/C EMH/7 P/T Ne/Ni 26,582 words.
